Ah, this had me ROFL laughing several times just because of the dialogue between the two brothers...

"Uh, I called for back up like 15 minutes ago?"

I don't know why it struck me as funny (maybe it was supposed to) but it did get me laughing several times. I liked the music timing and the fight sequences as well... the scene in the desert with the skeletons was well done, though I do wish that the Pharoah's 'greatest champion' had put up more of a fight (she ended up kind of a wussy champion, but oh well. )

The only thing I didn't quite follow was what those guys were doing on the top of the hill at the end. Did Mom send backup? LOL. I can just hear her... "You boys don't forget to load your weapons before you go out and play now..."

lol thanks man! ya, she did end up quite of a wimp eh? prolly cause of the two days i had to finish that ending fight sequence.

BTW, i just got done with all 3 acts of your peice, pretty ill stuff man. were your voice people professional? it was very well done, btw, sarah sounds hot

Wow, I remeber seeing this before. Must've been a beta. I like the slo-mo scenes, Very nice work. As for comparing this to AM's "Editor has you", this IMO gives it a run for the money. But I can't choose a favorite between the two, both are excellent works.

Personally, I'd like to see more movies made with the editor.

Looked nice, my only problem was that they crash landed, yet they were on a mission to the planet anyway? I'd say they should have just landed normally or made the crash an actual plot device.

The skeletons also had blood, but that's a minor gripe.

Agreed but since this is konseptgames' thread and I have spoken at length on AMs movie on her thread let me say that ... (big build up )

... This movie was a terrific UT film right up until the end ... there is where there is a major divergence. This ending was not an ending ... it just was ... sadly I know more could have been done ... Maybe an Orbital Cannon wiping out everyone and it turns out ... well you get the picture ... but I respect that this is your vision and I found 90% of it entertaining ... endings count for a lot to me so I can't say I wasn't a bit let down.

As an Anuban I was all ready to give this the edge :up: Man I loved seeing these characters used and at first you made them seem really regal and powerful ... but let us just say the Anuban chief council does not take killing an Anuban princess lightly ... and by Mercs!?

C'mon ... maybe the Skaarj would have given them a battle but these guys Seriously though this was a very well done film and all personal feelings aside you should be in the running . Next time perhjaps you can have an Anuban Elite force come out after a princess is killed ... I wanted to see more blood. Really though .. nice use of the Anuban theme.

We'll just have to see if you're earlier, rather bold prediction will come true.

If you mean professional in the sense of having acted in commercial projects, no, but if you mean in terms in talent, as far as I'm concerned, hell yes. They beat out about eight other people in the auditions and turned in two absolutely outstanding performances. I put the auditions up on a site called the Voice Actors Alliance that caters to fandubbers of Japanese anime, so there was no shortage of decent talent.

hey all, again thanks for the input, ill try to answer all the comments.

#1, as for the ending, i really had a cool ending plot, i was gonna have the brothers fight with the chick, then they eventually kill her without the help of their backup. Then the backup shows up once they kill her, "Thanks for being timely" etc, then all of a sudden you hear some earth shaking and stuff, then a ton of skeletons and the general guy and the pharoah come out for a HUGE fight in the arena, and eventually ending in a running away scene with the anubans chasing the mercs back to their ship etc. But with a week to finish, it was still really tough to get that little fight scene worked out

#2, i was trying to change or take away the skeletons blood, but i could not find out how.

#3, starfury, is the chick that played Sarah hot?

Now that is what I would have loved to have seen ... but still I liked the movie ... at least your mind was in the right frame

The first time I tried to run it it gave me a GPF. You might want to test this on a couple of other machines. I'm running the 3270 patch.

Kinda ended a little suddenly.

watched it...
it had some funny moments but i found the camerawork very distracting. Try to do more static cameras and more cuts, it'll help.
I like the Staticmesh of the Spacecraft, especially its proportions.

And yes, the scene with the skeletons is cool.
Just maybe a bit too slow...
