someone uploaded the necris skin pack 2 to fileworks, but theres not a .umod in the zip file instead its seperated in folders, Textures, System and Help. when i looked inside the System folder i found two files that really shouldn't have been there and will mess up UT2004 if installed, Manifest.ini and Manifest.int, i'd suggest getting in touch with Beyond Unreal and tell them to have the Mirror's remove that zip file ASAP.

nathjan thanks for the info. I have contacted them, and asked them to remove the 'dirty' file and add the original.

I don't mind if people are trying to spread my file, but please do so keeping the files (and anything else for that matter) in the original format that I had provided. If you insist on changing something - anything, please notify me for my approval before you intend to provide it to the public. It is because of problems like these, that I would like to make sure that "my" work does not receive false feedback.

Those manifest files are included within an umod file. They designate where everything goes and adds itself to the main manifest file upon install.

Somebody obviously didn't like umod files, extracted it and uploaded a zipped version without removing those files.

I downloaded the beta version of this and noticed you had updated versions of some of the skins from the Flytag Necris Pack.

I take it that this is designed to be an update of that? I'm just curious cause I want if I should get rid of the old ones.
