Found this map over on pwnage which is a great site btw, following a link from a thread in Gen. Disc. Couldn't find it posted here so thought I would give it a bit more exposure as it's a real nice map.

It's a nice map. Not quite Aristocracy or Griffin (Can't help but compare it to those) but it's still a keeper.

Looks good and plays better... it's a keeper. Somewhat unfair to compare it to Griffin since that map is much much heavier than most stock and custom maps.

This maps been out for awhile, but it's still good. Lots of people were psyched about this mappers last project, DM-Akbal. Those same people are excited about this one, whereas again I find it a bit lacking. It's probably that I was desensitized by Griffin.

Anyway, the gameplay gets no complaints on this one. Layout is solid, and you can move just about anywhere freely. The placement is good as well, but sometimes the level seems a tad large for a 1on1. Bot AI is great, they kicked my ***** first time I tried it.

Eye candy wise; it looks good. Back in the day it would have been heralded with one of the best, along with Arkanos and others. But now, after some maps have raised the bar, this is but another quality castle map. After I saw Griffin, just about every other map I'd ever seen dropped a few notches, so now I'm quite jaded when it comes to how maps look, especially CTF and DM maps.

A very solid map all in all. 8.5/10:up:

A pretty good map. Not quite up there with Aristocracy but blows gameplay lacking Griffon away. I'd rate it between the 2 versions of Akbal, better than Akbal 2k4, but not as good as Akbal 2k3.

great layout/AVA/gameplay and just missing custom music (actually music choice is good anyway); good weapon placement and bots (The Raj really ****** me off); I like the skybox, bats, gargoyles, flags, ivy(?), lighting/shadows and sounds.
