    Heres a link to the Unreal2Soldiers model pack thanks to GreatEmerald. The last host for it that I could find was on www.megaupload.com/ and thanks to him he uploaded to his mediafire account just before megaupload went offline.Thanks!

    I've assembled a separate UPL for those who have the Species Stats mutators on. This will make the troops just like in Unreal II: the heavy ones are slower, lighter ones are faster. Also, given unique names so it sounds better than just "soldier12red". And now when you open the config window, you can see their actual status ("Marine", "Ghost warrior" etc.) instead of the default "mercenary".
    Just back up your U2Soldier.upl and edit the old one with Notepad. Replace everything with these lines:

    Noticed that too. They get killed because of the fast movement
    If you set the species to be XGame.SPECIES_Merc, the speed normalises. Basically that's what changes in the servers' UPL. Don't see anything bad with using that version (I'm not using a skin for my character tho).

    Something kinda strange, but if Species Statistics is active, the soldiers in the pack move extremely fast.

    Well, these are included in Unreal Tournament 2 Conversion. Also there are Skaarj there. I just need to figure out how to extract those.
    By the way, I'm in the middle of making a working and balanced Unreal II weapons mod. Will fit the mood there. Although having a Dispersion Pistol would be neat, as well as a Singularity Cannon.

    Btw, since this old thread was brought up would anyone want to use the Dispersion Pistol if I took it out of the U2skaarj package and made it seperate? Something for the non-broadbanders to play with . I might do this and package it with my "nakhti_scorpion" pistol.

    Sorry for ressurrecting this age-old thread, but this is really getting on my ***. I'm trying to re-download those U2 Soldier skins, but the link given in the http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums...d.php?t=397947 -thread leads to a page that is put down for God knows how long. ****ing spectacular. Where the hell can I find the skinpack with updated/fixed ragdolls?! I'm getting increasingly frustrated here.
