I know its strange, but he does show up ingame.

Looks very great! Nice work.

But wasn't epic working on a metal guard model for an upcoming bonuspack/patch. They added some skaarj, a necris and a metal guard to some .ini file in the first official patch.

Edit: Err, just downloaded and extracted the files to the right folders ... if I select a metalguard-character I get Wraith ?!

Edit2: Works with every metalguard-model except Wraith ... and the models don't appear at the character selection screen ...

The conversion was done by EvilEngine, and IIRC it's a meshsmoothed version of the original which comes in somewhere areound 12,000 polys, and doesn't show the portrait correctly. I downloaded it and added some of my favourite custom UT skins, but I only ever use it in Instant Action because of the polycount.

I was always hoping that he'd optimise it and do versions of some of the other UT models (or at least the Female Soldier), but it didn't happen.

They wont showup in the menu's (Bug in the original Model)
but they show just fine in game.

Looking into the problems...
