    Legion (Mass Effect) Character Skin

    Name: Legion Character Skin
    Version: Final
Compatibility: Unreal Tournament 2004 patch 3369
Description: Legion is one of the characters in Mass Effect. Stock photos were used to recreate this low-poly model. The pipes and asymmetry were a nightmare, but it was worth it I think. CTF2 team color (Red and Blue) is supported only. 2770 triangles.
Comments: Made with Blender, GIMP, UModel, 3DS Max, and UnrealEd.

Very nice, I mean it! You have talent! I've seen your other skins too and you have potential. Especially people who make character models are rare these days.
I understand the pain with creating asymmetric models as I'm trying to learn modelling myself as well (Blender only), you can't simply mirror them and the UV mapping and skinning is also more work on characters with two individual sides as you cannot simply have one side mapped and mirrored as with the model.

Welcome to the forum and welcome to the community!
I hope you will enjoy your time here.

Cool model mate! I've never been playing some video games (including Mass Effect), but only played the UT series games (UT99/UT2004/UT3). You can use the [SHOT] tag to make the size of the image (at first post) smaller for this thread before you click to view full size (new tab is forced).

This is what happens with the screenshot command by putting "IMG" around the url, then "shot" around the whole thing: [shot][/shot]

If you use [SHOT][/ SHOT] (without the space), you don't need [IMG] tags.

This is what happens when I put "shot" around the url. [shot]http://www.deviantart.com/download/298643187/ut_2004_legion_custom_character_skin_preview_by_dr agon7350-d4xsyk3.png[/shot]

It's putting "%20%20" in part of the URL where it should be "dragon7350."

Okay, this is interesting. For some reason it puts a space between dr and agon in the url which makes the link useless and gives you a 404.
Alternatively you can upload it to an imagehosting-site like imageshack.us or photobucket. When using imageshack, make sure that you set the image size to "do not rescale". It seems to be a problem with the deviantART link.

Might be your .PNG image name from DeviantART is too long. You can try a shorter name to make this work.

I was thinking about that. I followed Tux Android's tutorial link and found myself playing with the Voice Packager program. The problem is, I've never played Mass Effect so I wouldn't know much about how to use Legion's voice effectively. If someone came up with some wav samples or a completed voice package, I'd gladly include it in the character download.

The image seems to be strange, I couldn't upload it to Imageshack either... O_o

I had to convert it to jpg, then it worked:

I hope it's okay for you that I uploaded it and you may copy my link for your first post.
