Merry Christmas, here's a present to the entire community!

I hope you all like DM maps and had a nice Christmas so far!
Forgive me any bugs, I started this map yesterday evening and finished it today.
I have no idea why the lettering on the snow is so pixelated, in the editor it looks all fine and I couldn't seem to find a quick fix for it, if you know how to fix it, please tell me and I'll upload a version 2.
Oh, and the performance may $u(k on older PCs, sorry about that...

This map is a Christmas present to the entire UT community and Epic Games forum admin Flak!
I intended to put one present into the map for each helpful member I know but that would have been way too much. I hope you like it nonetheless
- oh and please don't butcher me for making yet another Christmas map with a boring name!

Comment: Basically what the description says. I felt the need to make a Christmas present in form of a map for the community and I hope you enjoy it. I used Morbias as inspiration for the layout but chose a different setting and didn't include a superweapon (I think you wouldn't get to use it anyways, the gameplay is pretty fast!).

I have very bad things to say.

First, the map is just to much fun.
Second, the ambient is awesome.

Fourth, no health packs, made me jump to the tree lots of times. xD

You should make more maps and they should be as bad as this one.

I must agree with 100GPing100, this is a terrible map. The worst kind of Morbias knock off. Make more awful maps please.

The only real complaint I have is that it wasn't released a month ago in time for servers to add it to their xmas rotations.

Sorry about not releasing it earlier, I got the idea to make it yesterday (yup, pretty late, I know ). Apart from that it wouldn't be a real present if it was released before December 24th. lol

And as I said before: I couldn't put one present for each community member in there, it would have been way to much. Maybe next year I'll make a map inside of a present with presents as geometry, each with a name of a community member on them. lol

That's the punishment from Santa for all the bad things all of you did that year, for example frag other players.

Well since I played the map last night with Sly. and a friend, here's my feedback:

- I like the visual stuff very much, the tree and the surroundings aswell as the skybox look very good and create a nice christmas-feeling.
- One would think that it gets boring with the only weapons being rocketlaunchers but it is okay due to the small, arena-style layout of the map.

-I would recommend making some of the christmas tree decorations actually collectable, so that some who know the map well can get a little advantage.
Or make the active and inactive ones change after a few minutes if that is possible.
-Another suggestion I have would be to make the tree climbable and put a superweapon on the very top of it. That way there would be some ultimate achievement for the best players to reach.

Other than that I can't say anything negative about this but I have to admit that I am not quite a fan of those fragfest-maps. This one has a lot of eye-candy though, which makes it get boring slowlier.

Yes. What kind of Christmas tree doesn't have any goodies under it? A damage amp or armor would make a nice gift, or maybe being able to use those T.O.W. missiles!.....
