    MutCacheExtractor (In-game Cache Extractor)

    Description: This mutator lets you extract cache files from within the game even online!
    ScreenShot: Before anyone ask me what that black info is in the screen, it is the UT2K4 GUI debug/editor feature


    Info: If the selected file to extract turns black/dark then this means the file was not successfully extracted possibly the file didn't exist anymore, but was still present in the UT2004\Cache\cache.ini file. Beware of files that are in-use, attempting to extract those may result in a game crash!

    Comment: This is supposed to be hosted on a server. It is not client-side because ANTI-TCC etc would kick you for it, thinking that it is a cheat.

            tried it out on a test server and works fine except on a few files that stay highlighted black
            i was wondering if you thought of putting a extract all button and a clear cache button for those files that dont extract

              As far as i know, deleting files or removing a line from the cache.ini is not possible within unreal script, an extract all button is possible but not exactly worth a new release, id say you just make a macro to keep clicking the extract button? or just press yourself alot of times :|

                i have downloaded your mutator and installed on my system but it doesnt show in the esc menu when im online what am i doing wrong help please

                  this is a server side mutator so you have to host a server or go to a server that has this mutator in order to see the menu

                    i do have a server A fart in the wind rpg ,thought it was client mutator but thank you for the info ,tell me i have a classes folder allready from the rpg i am running so i cant use this mut maybe it could be renamed for the future versions

                        Hi. What is target of this mutator?

                        is it called to solve problem with purgecache on clients and reloading resourses from server again?
                        if so, then is it real to automatically extract from cache on clients the most biggest files? the server administrator can specify names of this files. is it real to do automatically without client-side gui-button-clicking? (I didnt look at source yet, so just asking).

                          It's goal is to make it quick and easy to play maps/mutators offline that the player just downloaded.
