    I've found a bug/glitch with the strider if you jump on to the head section the strider will suddenly float upwards towards the sky, carrying the player uptowards the limits of the level, if you enter it when it is up at the top you can have a strider that can walk through the air while it is decending.

      They are not perfect by a long way but they were so unique something was better then nothing. If there is a coder and modeler who wants to perfect it feel free. I have done all I can, hope you like them for what they are

        They're pretty good for as of now, not alot of people go this far to make something this cool.

          Finally got a chance to try the Gunship, Helicopter and Strider, and WOW, awesome! Looks great, handles great, plays great.

          Couple of suggestions:
          • The Gunship seems to do hardly any damage at all except at extremely close range.
          • Strider leg collision doesn't seem to match the actual legs. Karma collision blocks don't animate. Epic "fixx0rd" that when they removed the Flying Levi exploit. Remove karma collision from those blocks (leaving zero and non-zero extent collision) and the blocks will stick with the legs.
          • Gunship and Helicopter weapons have a wind-up time, but there is no real disadvantage to simply holding down fire forever. I fly across the map with the fire button firmly pressed down just so I won't have to wait for the wind-up when I find a target. Perhaps you could make the weapons overheat after sustained use.

          Couple of requests:
          • How did you get the Strider to animate like that? Tweening? I'd love to see the code.
          • How did you get the Strider's altfire beam to stick to the Strider if it moves after firing? I've tried that but it wouldn't work for me. I'd love to see the code.

            I had to make the collision act as it does because of spawning issues with it, it was a hash job but no matter how I tried this was the only way I could get it to spawn without disappearing below maps. As for the code, I only added a few bits and pieces but I am not the author. Decompile and you will get to see what's what.

                        Combine Elite Player Model (Beta)

                        Well after 20 minutes of tweaking in 3DS Max I've managed to make the Combine Elite model good enough to play in UT2K4. I still have alot to learn in bone structure but I think this guy is ready to play.

                            I've tried using the Strider in Onslaught with Carlauncher and Swaptool, but it also spawns with the legs in the ground.

                            Err, am I doing something wrong here? Do I have to use the mutator for it to work properly?

                              It was a quick fix as it was a pain to make it spawn on the map at all. It does eventually 'pop up' and yes, I was not happy with it but I thought something was better then nothing. If there is anyone out there willing to make another version that works flawlessly they are welcome.

                                I spotted a problem with the creatures.

                                Mostly the human monsters. (Prison gaurd, etc...) When I blast them, they just fall over in the last frame they were in. Am I missing something? Or is it the animations that are faulty?


                                (To tell ya the truth, those head-crabs scared me when one jumped at me with that giant mouth of its.)
