The DamAmp is far to simple give different affects to different situations (weapons, bots, etc.). It affects the damage received by all actors.
You might be able to make something like what you say with Lord_Buggy's code though.

Anyway, I'm done with DamAmp. I like it the way it is, but if anyone wants to make something similar with extra functionality, feel free.
When, and if, I do any more mut coding, it'll be with UT07. If I do make any muts, a damage amplifier will be my first .

I wonder, can this mutator reduce damage as well?

I'll download it anyway, but I won't have the time to test it right now.

By the way, is there an all around mutator modifying specific damage for every weapon with a menu available somewhere?

WeaponStuff 3 is the mutator that you'd are looking for. You can change damage per weapon, per fire mode. You can swap out firemodes from other weaps, adjust firing rates, projectiles per shot, splash damage, adjust ammo counts or just have infinite ammo ... umm, momemtum and self damage ... projectile speed and lifetime, lol

          HERE

Only thing it doesn't do is adjust shock combo damage, but Damage Amplifier probably could, and just scale everything else from there.

Yes! DamAmp has a range of 0.1x to 10x, so you can reduce the damage down to one tenth its normal. Not that it's a good idea to go that far...

I don't have much experience of reducing damage, but I'd suggest trying around 0.8x for reduced damage, 1.33x for increased damage. The extreme value range is only for those who want extremes .

Yes it could. It affects all damage received by all pawns, no matter who, or what, dealt the damage.

                    Wow, Interest!

Unfortunately Filefront has (for some reason I cannot decipher) decided not to host my files for more than a week or two, so the original link is now broken. Even more unfortunately, I'm stuck at Uni at the moment and my computer with the DamAmp files is at home.

If anyone still has the .zip file, could you host it somewhere and post a link for Cren?

Failing that Cren, you may want to pm some of the posters in this thread, see if they've still got it. I think it's unlikely though... it is 3 years old and they've probably moved onto UT3...

If you subscribe to this thread, I'll repost the files when I get back from uni. It means waiting a month, but it will happen, promise.

                    Sorry I can't help much...

PS: How did you find this old thing? I'm curious...

Hi, you're very kind Probably almost everyone is on UT3, but I discovered your mutator trying to assemble some stuff in order to making UT2004 more COD4 style Unfortunately, UT3 doesn't have enough mutator to do the same, yet. I'd need your mutator in order to make the experience COD4 hardcore mod like Thank you.

P.S.: I also use "Weapon Stuff" to change weapons' features and "Player Modifier" to make player move slower. I wanna see if you mutator works with UTXMP

I managed to get home for a short while, so I uploaded the DamAmp here: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?jkwn3mzymlx.

I had a map on there too, but it seems to have disappeared; so get this mutator while it's still there!

They disappear if nobody downloads from you during 1 month and you don't check your account in a month.
