    CTF-TFC-Solemn

    Name: CTF-TFC-Solemn
    Author: Jos 'Sjosz' Hendriks
    Version: 1.0
Compatibility: UT2004 + Megapack (or stand alone latest patch 3369)
Description: Left behind by a deceased civilization, this ancient solemn settlement will once more have blood flow through it's waterways. The only question you have to ask yourself is: Will it be yours, or theirs?
Comments: My entry into The Floorplan Challenge (TFC) mapping competition at NaliCity. Level's layout had to show strong resemblance with a symbol on your keyboard. I chose the S.

Credits: First and foremost, credit goes to Carson 'Dregs' Smith for being an excellent artist, providing me with a lot of feedback and custom content. Taaske, for letting me use the custom spiderweb textures (back from Taron). Joe Swinback, for inspiring me with DM-Echo, and for letting me use the custom textures from that same map as a base (back from Taron). Moonflyer, for letting me use the waving spiderweb meshes (back from Taron), and for letting us use other assets from his DM-UCMP-Bloodrun. Also, credit goes to Tony 'Scarface' Seifert for several foliage meshes/textures. Sadly I was not able to reach him through several emails to the mentioned addresses mentioned in his maps' readme files, but he deserves the credit for his custom meshes I used from Semiramis. Credit also goes to James 'Axeman' Scott for making the liftmesh for me, to Nathan Day for being a great help with weapon placement and to Hazel Whorley for letting me alter one of her skyboxes. Thanks to everyone who supported me!

Dude, I played through this last night. Putting as many bots in it as possible is crazy fun! I can't wait to have a big throwdown with some friends. Fantastic design. I love it. 10/10

                  Fantastic work as always Sjoz.

guess I still have the same littel irk.

I'd like to see more variance in the main textures you usually use, just somthing to break up the stone a little.

For instance to alcoves with the torches might look cool with a differnt texture ther or something......that sort of thing.

Thats the only nit picker I have!!

                  Great F'n job!!

Yes, classic Sjosz here. I'm actually way into the minimal use of textures in this map, but i see where ShredPrince is coming from. I haven't played this but it seems like it would be a quick and dirty map in terms of gameplay. Well done my friend.

                              another good Sjosz map!

great small CTF where 3on3 or 4on4 on a server would be cool to see; good custom music and attention to detail to create great atmosphere
