I think you can play the BW ones if you use mutators like WoRM or Random Weapon Swap.

That problem has never been reported before, do the weapons appear in Instant Action matches?

This only happen in the DM-CBP1-AugustNoon map. No weapons in Listen Server mode, weapons in Instant Action mode. There should be a fix for that map. Anyone know of such a thing?

Why not integrate the mutator in the map if it is needed to play it properly? Yes, of course, it would perhaps take up alot of disk space, but UT2k4 with basic addons is above 4 GB anyways.

That map isn't a part of the map pack so RS can't do anything about that. You just have to ask the author what could be the problem.
