    Description: Beneath this frozen oceanic floor lays to rest a once active technological facility known as Glacialis… Will you be the one to rest with it?

    Comments: Small 1on1 DeathMatch map. It is a very close quarter’s map – mainly because I went for a realistic type scale of a real place – So it may not be for everyone. Hopefully it will still be enjoyed!

      Certainly the detail is there, it takes people some time to reach this level of detail and as this is your first map that deserves top marks. I like the lighting also the windows gives a really cool look/lighting, then you have your standard white and orange lights but as this is mainly a grey arena that works quite nicely. The layout is nice here to but the only problem I have with it is the corridors, the ceilings are to low and cramped for my liking.

      Any way a solid start. Man I wish my first map was as good as this. :up:

          Congrats on finishing this, Whonoz, you made the right amount of changes to make it look excellent. I'm looking forward to seeing you on IRC again soon to show me what you're scheming next :up:

            kiddailey - Thanks for the link and letting me know. I tried, but I knew my :noob:'ness would show up some time while releasing the map.

            Sjosz - I am definitely looking forward to my next map and plan on having gameplay tests early on because I want to focus 100% on gameplay next time. Take it easy man and I’ll talk to ay soon.

              Congratz on the map Whonoz. It's a job well done. The visuals are excellent and gameplay is great. My only complaint is that for a 1v1, this map is too big. It's too spread out. I spent way more time looking for my opponent than I did engaging him. I tried it with a 2v2 and that worked a lot better at keeping the null time to an acceptable level for a DM map.

              Overall effort, 9.5 out of 10.
