Grabbed it and also grabbed Jebediah's other map on UP: Zoetic. I love themes, the screenies looked good and hey, never pass up anything recommended by an industry mapper like Desp #2.

Oh, and besides DeFeCt (who seems to have more than just this defect), I now see it has infected some other posters as well...

      [Update]

OK here are my thoughts on the map, having played it quite extensively and being a CTF player moreso than any other gametype...

      First impressions

After that it is simply a real beauty a work of art. The atmosphere is wonderful and indeed the build, the music's great too. From a visuals point of view it's awesome!

Gameplay is however where I personally was let down. While the bots had no trouble at all going from A-B, I always felt like I was running in circles without quite knowing where I was going... Maybe I'm just dizzy and too overworked to appreciate it fully but where gameplay is concerned I was let down.

Then again, you can't please all the ppl all the time

It is a recommended download and as said it is original and deserves the hype but for me it's just not that good

Kudos to Jebidiah though for all the work you obviously put into this and I'll be on the lookout for future stuff from you. Thanks again

Well, it certainly is a "different" map. I pretty much like it but agree with klasnic in regard to feeling like running round in circles. But then again, I'm a crappy player and am always running round in circles - hehe.

I don't know the mapping terms, but all those animated/moving thingies are pretty damn cool. I like the sounds as well, sort of made me feel like I was in a production plant type of setting.

One thing I found a little disorienting was the size/spacing of the grid on the walkways in some places. The "bars" seemed too far apart. Sorta felt like I should have been tip-toeing so I wouldn't slip between and break my leg, if that makes any sense.

But I like it and will keep playing it - thanx Jebidiah.

WOW, just WOW! This is a very beautiful map Jebidiah. I agree with Klasnic, he hit every nail on the head, except I didn't feel that gameplay was all that bad. As a matter of fact, after the first 5 minutes or so of playing this map, I had most of the routes down pat.

I don't know what kind of computer or in-game settings this DeFeCt dude plays UT on, but on my rig this map looks spectacular at 1600x1200 with everything turned up all the way. It's truly a work of art and gameplay ain't half bad.

Ah, I see you posted the final version of this, sorry I wasn't available more to help out test the last bit. It seems nobody is disappointed with botplay, so I pat myself on my back

Don't get me wrong it's not bad gameplay I just feel it could be better. With CTF I tend to like maps where I can just jump in and go (and know where I'm going), with this it just wasn't as straightforward (pardon the pun) as I think it could have been

And a well deserved pat there, Sjosz - AI was pretty much perfect

                  Spot On

You're in my "Hall of Fame" - hehe.

Played this map a fair bit more and got all the routes worked out. With my Bot setup and weapons selection, it's a Full On affair - top stuff.

LOL, thanks again guys... And yes, Sjosz DEFINITELY deserves that pat on the back! I have been playing a bit more with his AI, and it is incredible. The bots walk all over me now... I owe him bigtime!

I haven't had problems with getting lost. This map's double deck like layout is very similar to an old quake 3, three-wave map. I mean in how the layout is set up. I love it.

Cool map Jebidiah. Nice layout, stunning visuals.

I found two grey wallboxes without blocking volumes in the blue (only) flak-room, so 6-7 players can hide in the wall at the same time... It needs a fix I think.
But it's a great artistic-looking map IMO. Keep up the good work!

great AVA including custom music track (like the custom content, crazy theme, textures/meshes, layout and the atmosphere all this creates); I’m sure gameplay would be fine online, but bots can’t defend my base worth anything and don’t pursue; bad spawn point near center of map also. Oh, and I'd like to see DeFeCt's maps.

                                Fun CTF map.

This map has some great load of visuals; but its also a good atmosphere, custom layout, luminous design, physics, and custom audio track. This map has lack of escape during getting an enemy flag but needs to tend an secret escape to avoid frag (except the middle); hit-and-miss escape routes for human players, but sure it will be fine online. Bots are good, but can't defend in the matter of time. Gameplay will be also fine in online though.
