    What you can do or add is some glowing plant, rock or something of a sort. In addition to that, you can add light that is similar in color to that of its surroundings, making the game look ambient while maintaining the overall darkness. Its a bit tricky to do but it makes a difference. Oh and I will try it out when I reach home in the next 6 hours :noob:

    Thanks for the reply. The one dilemma I'm facing is the fact that it's set in the dead of night in a barren pass, so there shouldn't be too many lamp posts or objects lying around. The terrain does have more than one texture, though, I can tell you that :P

    The map was very difficult to get screenshots of, so I suggest taking 5 minutes and trying it for anyone who has the time :noob:

    (Also looking into the skybox. I really can't find a better one ATM.)

    Just from the screens(can't download,at work) the terrain needs more than one texture to look remotely good. In addition to that, the sky box does NOTHING for the map. Also there needs to be more variation in the terrain's hieght and more static meshes to make map look at the very least appealing. You also need to work on the lighting, because it currently looks bland.


    Put a little more effort into the map.

    Version: Beta 1
    Compatibility: Latest UT2004 patch. Requires ECE.
    Description: A very deep, dark, onslaught map with some rough terrain, which may be the road more traveled, for fear of goliaths, hellbenders, and paladins.
    Comments: This is a fast-paced map with two choke nodes for each core, and many connections that will keep each team on its toes. I know that the edges of the terrain are very thin. There are some places where you can get stuck. These will be fixed.
