FemmeBot - the one and only Female Robot / CyberGrrl voice for UT2003. What, no female robot sounds in the game? Well now there are My largest voicepack yet. 48 rockin robot taunts, over 100 original voice samples. Complete for all game types.

UGrrl2003v2 - updated version of my UGrrl2003 voicepack. Added some new taunts, improved the volume levels and changed the FX so all voices have that 'over the radio' sound. 40 fragtastic taunts, over 80 original voice samples and of course complete for all game types.

both are now UMODS that practically install themselves and include custom player voice descriptions and portraits too this time.

If you dont mind me asking. What program do you use to edit the sounds? Is there a specific filter used to get teh robot sound?

the program used to record is Cool Edit Pro. www.syntrillium.com , (which was recently bought by adobe so the website will redirect ya)

finding a good cyborg robot voice sound took some time, and was the most work. its a combination of effects and filters within cool edit, took a few weeks before i was happy with it. its too bad they have to get mixed down so much because they lose alot of the subtle fx and tones, but im still happy with them

you could also have some "fat couch potato slob redneck" voice pack.

First, thanks for updating the previous UGrrl voice pack. I liked it but the low sound volume was a tad too low. I am currently downloading V2 and the femmebot and I know I won't be disapointed.

My suggestions :

1 - please include a readme file with the text for all taunts. Just because there are people like myself whose mother tongue ins't english and who feel sorry to miss the meaning of what the bot says.

2 - announcer packs. Mostly because the BP female announcers were kind of poor. The regurlar one is scary and the horny one is silly.
AFAIK, the best female announcer so far is "Announcer Helena".
I guess you could try to find that right spot where you could make funny announcements without that whacky sounding voice that Helena has.
You could also make a serious Announcer pack, like a female UT announcer for instance.

3 - I am under the impression that the UGrrl voice pack is somehow intented to sound New-Yorkese. You could try to make a more "all-around american" sounding voice pack.
One poor thing with UT2003 is that Mercs all have the same voice. You have the opportunity to give us a good alternative.

4 - alien voicepack. Either you create some sort of Nali-type language or you use some distortions like what they did for the Skaarj Hybrids in UT.

I also have a request... sort of...

I may, someday (not in a near future), make another female character, and I may want that character to have a special voice. Would you agree to make a voice pack for someone who would request it from you?

thanks for the feedback and suggestions! ill try to include at least a list of taunts in future packs.

i would like to do an alien pack but because Ut2003 doesnt display text its kind of pointless, im hoping this will become an option in ut2004 so that will make that kind of pack possible.

yes, im open to doing work on new models and mods, just let me know what you have in mind
