    "Realistic" DM with destroyable walls, bridges and USABLE AND DESTROYABLE VEHICLES

    In DM-1EXN-OctagonArena map you can destroy many walls, glasses, lift columns, chains, bridges, columns, barrels, ramps, reactors, ... AND YOU CAN USE AND DESTROY VEHICLES (with weapons) with strongly using "Karma" physics engine for moving and colliding fragments, barrels, bridges, ... this game is a "realistic" DM shooter.

    The many "Karma" objects, effects, big arena and many BSP (ruins) together requires GeForce3 Ti 500 or stronger video card and 1.8 GHz or stronger processor.

    You need tactilcal sensibility for this DeathMatch because the walls, ramps, bridges, ... are destroyable.

    Destroy the smaller bridges and ramps in order to change the path of the players.

    Many walls are destroyable in the DM-1EXN-OctagonArena map, so you can shorten your ways several times.

    Destroy the enemy by making the wall fall on them. To do this, you have to shoot the wall near the enemy.

          i'd really like to check this out. Destroyable walls, that's really new to me in ut2003. I'll try to download it as soon as i get home. Looks very cool judging from the screens. :up:

            Now that's a real Karma map. Runs like a dog, and probably not at all online, but it's great fun. Especially trying to drive a Bulldog when one of the wheels has been shot off

              Interesting I kind of like the idea. It's kind of similar to Worms in the sense that you never that the same game. The environment is dynamically changing.

                  yea i tried it in earlier versions...my FPS goes down the pooper with this though...too many objects i guess

                    I like it, fun and great. But it gets slow after playing with to many people.

                      This DM, TDM version is 35% faster like the original Exion MOD map. And this map contain vehicles.

                          hey GeorgeV, is it possible for you to assign differen't destructible properties to some of the items. Cause it makes no sense for a hand rails, pipes, walls to explode when shot (unless it was blown up with explosives. Maybe adding a differen't effect for some items will help with the fps? anyway just a suggestion assuming its even possible.

                            This is the either of the solution what you say (with mesh emitter). But in this case the fragments not work with "Karma" physics and the fragments not destroy the glasses, enemy, ...

                            I make now the fast map with destroyable stuff. This map based on the original DM-Asbestos map.

                            I start the new forum thread for this.
