    In thing about that is you need to be a registered member, just signup. (Its only a Game development forum)

    Or you can get on Fileplanet. I belive they only have the 1.04 version. cant get them to update. Ill check into that and get it 1.10 if you dont want to get it from my forums. might take time. I dont own fileplanet :-)

      are you going to be making this for 2k4... by chance.. I thought i would ask... I went from playing UT G.O.T.Y to playing this and I am mad there is no volitile ammo.. that was the coolest thing....

            I am working this for UT2004

            Just working on how i wanted to handle the code. Only for default stuff or go for the gold and have it support all ammo for all 3party updates.

                      Woah this looks SWEEEEEEET. Imagine a bot going up to go pick up ammo and you blast it and he gets coated with exploding ammo. Oh that'll be fun! I'll be subscribing to this. Can't wait for 2k4 version

                              AFAIK, it's still a buggy mut as well.

                              In the UT2004 "VAS" mutator:
                              BUG: During netplay, after an ammo pack explodes (damaging players within the HurtRadius) its sMesh continues to display for 3-5 seconds afterward.

                              FEATURE LIMITED: the same (Rocket) explosion and HurtRadius results, regardless which kind (class) of ammo the destroyed pickup contained.

                              Someone named "Hanzo" released a superior mutator, called Vammo.u
                              (his docs credit Kal Corp)
                              That version spawns appropriate fx and damage specific to each ammo class.
                              In my testing, it also intermittently caused my client to crash.

                              Another alternative to the buggy VAS mutator is
                              ExplosiveAmmo.u
                              released by Chris Schultz and Brian Vargas.
                              It provides ammo class -specific fx, and even spawn ONS Grenades or Spider Mines when those type ammo boxes are shot open. This is my personal favorite & I was pleased to find that it is incorporated into the "Mr. Pants Excessive Overkill" mod.
