    Remote Strike Weapon mute 6.1 released(MSUC+pics)

    Hi, (SCREENS BELOW)
    A new version of Remote Strike 6.1 has been released for phase 2 of the contest we've got alot of new features including

    FULL VERSION 6.1 DETAILS

    Terrain deforming alt fire grenade on the Heavy support weapon

    Combat zoom added to all weapons (bindable key in settings)

    Maglights added for all wepaons (bindable key in settings)

    Laser redot targeter (Paints a red dot onto the target - bindable)

    All weapons have custom ICONS

    All weapons have ammunition ICONS

    All known bugs have been fixed

    Muzzle smoke is now produced after firing weapons

    Mutator code completely reworked

        is there any way to turn off the laser dot permanently? for everyone - so that bots dont have it either?

          I havnt added an option to switch the red completely off perhaps we can do that in a future version

            Hello,

            The weapons are awesome.. But on a few of them.. it appears that they Explode Blood or Dirt or something when the projectiles hit objects.

            I am trying to make a cool map with buildings and such.. and I would like to use your weapons.. but it looks wierd when I hit a building because it seems as if they are bleeding or something.

            otherwise all the weapons kick major ***..

            I HAVE been changing textures and stuff for Unreal...I am curious if I have messed something up on my end.. and maybe it appears as puffy smoke or something for everyone else?

              I think its possible as I do use some base ut2003 textures for the effects, although ive modified them the testures are used so it may be that those textures on your setup are different, there should be a mussy looking small explosion in the ground and a bit of debris flying upwards.

                Awesome. Simply awesome. I love the changes and additions,the weapons now feel lethal due to the combination of excellent sound and realistic looking models and textures.

                I happen to know there is more to come from this mod and I am keen to see it all. Keep up the truly superb work you guys.

                Is this forum the best place to be or what?!

                  yeah... you are right.. thats what I get..

                  it looks like Dirt is kicked up in the air when I hit the ground. Although the map I am making is all Cement.. heheh.. so it doesnt quite go... But thats MY FAULT.. not yours.. obviously..


                  ok.. here is a TREMENDOUS Shot in the Dark... And I realize this request is insane ... infact it probably Defines insane...

                  BUT..

                  What are the chances of you having the time to do a lil version where those "Hit Effects" dont happen?

                  I am not gunna hold my breath.. because looking at your site.. you arent exactly sitting arould fiddling your thumbs.. but.. I figure if I dont ask.. then nothing will ever happen.

                  anyhow... thanks for the fast reply.. and it looks awesome .. even if you DO call me insane.. hahaha .. which I am totally ready for Btw..

                    Hey thanks for the support Wolv34ine there are indeed more things in the pipeline but Nexus will let everyone know about that

                    - mudbog the effects can in some situations not suit the terrain, I mostly play outdoor maps so this is nt so much of a problem but a custom hit effect class is next on the list of things to do

                        PLEASE PLEASE put this in!!!:

                        Combat Shovel: Melee Weapon/Terrain deformer
                        Primary fire whacks a player over the head for a good amount of damage.
                        Secondary fire can be used to dig foxholes/trenches...
