Having looked at this site a lot, and seeing all the vehicles, i felt inspired to make one. During a hot afternoon after an exam, i sketched out a few vehicles. One of them i really liked so i decided to make it. I got a trial of 3ds-max and tried to learn how to use it. I Failed. However one of my best friends at school (Sash) knows how to model things so he agreed to help out. This is what we have come up with so far.

I really want to finish this so please tell me what you think.

your poly count is too high.

I don't know what it is, but you've got about 5 million faces in those notches you've cut into those cylinders.

Don't rely on meshsmooth. Learn to use the cut and slice plane tools to add detail where you need it, instead of hitting the magic "quadruple my poly count" button.

Yes I know the poly count is a little high and the rotors need detail but remember this is only a first model.

As for the legs being chopped off... Get more armour for your legs!

Well I can Honestly say I have ever seen that before. And to clear up any comments about having feet chopped off, the rotors stop when you get out happy?

This is quite the interesting vehilce. COngrats on comming up with a cool new (ok, new to most ppl) concept. If you get this thing working, that would be cool. As for weapons, i think it would be cool if you could get Mr. Evil's permision to use his WoE rocket launcher.

For those without WoE. It is a RL with many small missiles at once. Alt fire is like a homing beacon for all the missiles.

It shoots about 8 (i think) smaal rockets in a cluster. Would be neat to have them homing in on some Unsuspecting manta driver
