I'm still a learner at mapping , but I could try to help you. If you have any questions, send me a PM.
I'm glad to help, especially if that ultimately speeds up the process of finishing the whole Expendables pack!
nice job with the re-rig ! I think this bad boy is ready for official release. Oh I forgot to check team skins...?
I seem to remember some city maps with "working" helicopters; you could get on and go for a ride.
lol, actually i haven't released the re-rigged model yet, having some trouble given Snake's lower limb lengths not matching the UT2004 skeleton very well.
yeah, that's actually a great idea! i just wish i knew how to map better!

map looks cool. I seem to remember some city maps with "working" helicopters; you could get on and go for a ride. was back in ut99 or in 2k4 as well? just a thought, lol. Maybe easier to place an appropriate factory.
with custom guns the animations don't always match, especially smaller pistol type guns. Is it possible to pull left arm up and in a bit? Probably not a simple thing huh?
yes, it's a problem with many models. i re-rigged his model from scratch and his hand placement seems much better now.
looks great. been playing with model, no obvious weird stuff, I like the voice pack too.
for this model & in general (many models have this); with custom guns the animations don't always match, especially smaller pistol type guns. Is it possible to pull left arm up and in a bit? Probably not a simple thing huh?
Wow, very good looking model here! What I especially like is that he is not only usable in his role, but could fit into any team of special agents or monster/zombie fighters, due to his combat suit.
Oh, and I recognize the extra work you have put into the screenshots. (The right pistol in the second triple-batch laps over into the next picture )
cool, the voices sound good and clean, i like the forward dodge, he's looking pretty solid, nice work
nice pun on "solid" = )
thanks for some feedback on the voicepack. still plan on amplifying the volume here & there.
::UPDATE:: beta2!
now using original Brawl weight maps! should look more volumetrically like Snake
i wasn't happy with the beta1 automatic rig because it made Snake look a bit thin
much better in beta2 but not perfect, i might try resizing/re-aligning to the UT2004 skeleton better
beta1 downloaders, please delete Snake_tdl_b1.upl & Snake_tdl_b1.ukx before installing beta2
