so the wild goose has beaten you, huh? your quest is over? what if it's only beginning? your adversary will not give up so easily. he will not stop until he possesses the thing he desires. some of the most skilled extractors through history have understood only a fragment of the Serious Sam 3 Engine. i understand your doubt. you require skills. learn hex-editing, compile an extractor, and you will have your prize.

No. Fallbacks are supposed to be simpler materials that the game engine will load if the specified texture will not work because the material is too complex, for example if you have an older video card, or are using a really basic integrated graphics chip, or using OpenGL or Pixomatic rendering.

which i can reduce by increasing the alpharef but it eventually reduces the quality of the texture.
I've had issues like this before, and some of the default UT2004 skins like Blackjack and Remus have similar problems. I'm just not sure what specifically you'll need to do in this case. The game engine just doesn't like do things the way we want them to turn out. You could try a combiner to add the specular, and then mask the final blend. Just keep trying different variations, and you should find something that works well enough. Make sure to set a basic fallback w/out specularity.

By the way, I like the flat textures on the catsuit just fine. I think it looks great.

good to hear! i'm actually in NYC. thankfully still have my power & electricity, but i have a lot of friends & family that were hit pretty hard by Hurricane Sandy, trees uprooted, houses flooded, windows shattered, injuries, etc. the recovery process is likely to take days.. especially with the subway stations flooded.
