      Hey~! Me again. Just letting you guys know that if you encounter the same problem that I did, the best way that I found to deal with it is to select your ENTIRE MAP and move it to a different location in 3d space. I know that maps can get really complicated, and take a long time to rebuild, but it seems to solve it every time (From my 2 times of experience)

        **Eidt: Noticed that I am missing the closed doorways by the elevator shaft in the night level. Will fix once I get back from church.

          Wow... I uploaded a bmp file as opposed to the ZIP that had EVERYTHING on it. I fixed the doors and everything, so now I'm uploading the right freaking file. Jeez... that's pretty **** embarrassing, sorry guys.

                First of all:
                It's really small, both maps are only 24.2mb (including static meshes and music!) - that's good! People don't want to download maps which are bigger than 50mb

                But I have a problem: It still doesn't show up in the menu I guess it might have something to do with the names. I guess the UE doesn't like spaces. I'll rename the map(remove spaces) and try it again. Then I'll see if it works and give you some feedback

                        Alright, it's just uploading to File Front. I don't think there is, but there should be some sort of tool that tells you which packages you're using. And another tool that tells you what packages and whatnot already came with the game, which don't include downloaded content. It would make things way easier, especially for those of us who download a lot of maps and wonder which textures we're aloud to use with and without permission and whatnot. :/

                          Okay I'm going to be super honest with you. First of all, the use of custom pacakges etc is bad news. When you use custom content, you need to use the myLevel pacakge(s). That way people don't have to DL extra files through server re-direct. Your'e also dooming your map to never get played online. In this particular case, I don't see a huge benefit (if any) to the custom meshes you are using. There are a lot of meshes stock to the game that could achieve a similar, and even superior look to what you have achieved.

                          The symetrical nature of the map also lends itself better to CTF/BR/DOM. CTF probably being best IMO. Kinda like CTF-Joust. I could see it as DM-Gael type of map possibly.

                          Map would work out better overall as an "Ice Map". I'd use alleriaArchtecture meshes adn textures this will eliminate the need for custom packages, and improve the look of your map consdierably.

                          There are a lot of good things going on, but I'm taking this as someone who is a "user" downloading it, and to be brutally honest, it would be in the recycle bin for many by now. This is not because your map sux or anything like that, it's just too many package assciotions. (shoot for 0)
                          I would start by grabbing that main grey texture you have in place throughout the map. Open AlleriaArcheticeture.utx and find a shiney wall shader to use. Change terrain 2 snow, add some layers...etc.

                          Keep it up and don't get discouraged!!! It's way better than my first map(s)

                            I just always make my own meshes because I sort of feel like using the provided ones is like cheating, even though that's a silly thought. Yeah~ I know that a lot of the official ones that are built in even look better, but I still feel a bit stubborn about it. Dx

                            And actually, lets talk about this: I've been having a huge problem with terrain layers! D: I've tried several times recently to make other layers, but (Even though I could do it successfully in the past) now whenever I add a new layer and paint it, it just does poke-dots and doesn't properly display the freaking layer! Dx What did I do? How do I fix it?

                            Any way, I might not be on today after this post :3

                              I don't know if this matters to you, but a "level designer" is better off being good at using assets that are given to them rather than the ones that they create for themselves Most games studios want you to stick to thinking about level design, not modeling, textureing, etc etc etc. (if u care about that)

                              Maybe use some of your "broken" looking meshes, but take out most of the others? Or use them all, and just stick em in myLevel.
