Nah maybe just the angle of that particular shot...no mesh edits were done except to uniform scale to UT2004 size.

I am debating which way to go on these characters...maybe you guys can help...

Gears of War for PC has higher resolution textures then Gears of War 2 for the 360 but the 360 models have a higher polycount.

              So two questions:

Are there any issues with the current release's texture resolution?

And would the increase of texture resolution and/or the lower polycount be that noticeable in UT2004?

In the next update i can include the other models for comparision if you like.

I'd go low poly models, high res textures

                    Go for the Gears2 characters.

I'd prefer the GoW2 models, but so long as I get to play as Hoffman, I don't care either way.

As for team colours, why not change the colours of the lights on their suits?

Yeah the lights on there suits is a good idea for team skins for sure, thanks for that.

Meanwhile I tried out the original Gears characters with the higher resolution textures but they actually looked worse surprisingly.

I will just stick with the higher poly GoW2 chars which will make it alot easier to port them since they use one texture sheet for the head+body.

                          Again great shots Buffy!

Say, this might be necrobumping, but has there been any progress? I'm getting a bit worried.

ye, some GoW2 models would be great, and for team colors you could use the lights of the suits

P.S.: Don't forget to make the 4 team colors
