    Scorpion and Sub-Zero MKvsDC Character Models Beta v1.1

    Description:
    -Scorpion and Sub-Zero from MK vs DC Universe for UT2004

    Instructions:
    -Extract MKvsDC-UT2004.zip to UT2004 Directory

    Features:
    -Original Diffuse Textures
    -Original Specular Masks
    -Original Bios (from MK wiki)
    -Original Skin Weights
    -Custom Portraits
    -Custom Red/Blue Team Skins

    Beta V1
    -Initial Release

    Beta v1.1
    -Added Sub-Zero
    -Cleaned up Shaders/Textures
    -Scorpion skull no longer shows through

    Known issues:
    -Fingers are spread

    Remarks:
    -Normal baked into diffuse + Grayscale Normal Detail Texture
    -As with any of my releases from now on, if you want to use these characters in Multiplayer just edit the .upl and remove _Shader from the BodySkin and FaceSkin entries

    -Autodesk 3ds Max 2010 64-bit
    -Adobe Photoshop CS5

    AWESOME....BTW he is so BRUTAL on that game...lol. Did you include the double teleport?

    Hey are'nt you "lifting" UT2004 anims for these characters? You think that can be done with weapons too?

      Well yeah what i do is actually remap the original skinning vertex data to the corresponding bones on the target rig.

      I guess this process could theoretically be used for weapons if you wanted to use existing animations and just have the mesh look different. I will check it out and see what i can do.

          I noticed a problem. His skull face shows through his mouth piece. You can even see it on the pic. Oh, and we need: GET OVER HERE!!!

            You are right...his skull face does show through. It will be fixed in the next update!

            Also I will try and make a sweet voicepack

                  Haha yeah i will get that in there eventually.

                  On the other topic, unfortunately i cannot use this same method for weapons that i use with characters.

                  Weapons need code and all that fun stuff for the firing and need to be compiled before they will show up ingame. Characters do not require any compiling which makes them much easier.

                      Hey there. I've just downloaded this mode, but for some reason it does'n work. The character portrait appear in selection, but the model itself doesn't.
                      Can you help me?

                        One thing though, where does the file MKvsDCScorpionBetaV1.sfv go?
                        All the other files are in the designated folders for the exceptionof that one.

                        The Read me file is on a format that my computer can't open, and therefore i can't read where it goes.

                        EDIT:
                        Are you going to make Sub-Zero after you finish Scorpion?
