Game server info @ UTCMS
This service is still somewhat beta but it works and there are some nice features in it.
First of all, you can get a complete list of UT/UT2003 servers. These are polled for existence on a regular fashion. The poll rate depends on the server (UTCMS) load and varies between once/1 to once/5 hours.
If you klick the server address you may start playing in that particular server (if your browser is correctly set up). However, this will always use UT2003 or UT game depending on which one was set up in your system. If someone knows how to set this up so that it will start the right game I would be pleased to receive that bit of information.
If you klick the server name you will get server details. What is new in this one is the list of maps seen on this server which is basically a list of maps the server is rotating. This is ofcourse not complete and it may contain maps that are no longer rotating in the server but it will mostly be complete.
Now - what is REALLY neat here is the fact that you can download the maps that UTCMS has identified directly without doing a search on the net. There are perhaps 100 or so Game Server scanners around there but none of these give you download links.
