NOW level designers can apply for the Tamearia team. (Others too)

I didn't want a flood of level designer applications when I started the Tamearia mod, my main concern was getting coders and character modellers, which are significantly harder to find. Now that that's been settled, it's your turn.

Level designer applicants must be able to use a 3d modelling program such as 3d Studio Max or Maya, as we are making all our own content. A desire to get away from all the Industrial / Anubian themed levels is definitely a plus. Please email links to your previous level design work, or if you only wish to be a static mesh modeller, pics of that work.

Tamearia starts out on Earth, where five main characters are accidentally teleported to a beautiful planet where they quickly get drawn into a war that threatens to destroy an entire civilization. The game will be single player, scheduled for 24 levels plus an intro and ending, with a few multiplayer levels if we have time at the end.

If you're interested you can email me at rachel@angelmapper.com , or in Yahoo IM as dj_rachel_c, through MSN as rachel@angelmapper.com , or in IRC at irc.progameplayer.com #tamearia.

That is some top-notch texturing on that flying city there. How do you modelers manage to get your metals so realistic? Mine always come out crappy.

That's a painting done in PS or something.

don't waste your time here, go to polycount or something, where the real talent is.

Did that for the character modellers, but I don't know many LD's that hang out there. Out of all the places I go this seems to be the hub, so I'll try here.
