REQUEST for INVASION

Could anyone please make a mutator or mod or whatever, to make it possible to win INVASION upon reaching a certain wave, goal score or time limit?

That would be very appreciated by many (well, at least by me)!!

This can be done, but it may not be widely available yet. I have a modified skaarj.u file provided by Epic that allows me to set a "FinalWave" property in our server's ut2003.ini file. Ours is capped at 16 so the line of code looks like this:

FinalWave=16

You might try writing Steve Polge at Epic and ask him what their plans are regarding this issue. I will let him know that you have posted this request and ask him to respond. I honestly don't know why they changed it so the time limit stopped working in the first place. The Wave limitation, however, really does the job very nicely.

is it possible for this to be used has part of a mutator, i presume u could use both this and the orginal one.

would it not cause issues, say make a server with this installed,
and the playing a server without it....

would it not cause a file mismatch

I had exactly the same question and the answer is no, it does not cause a file mismatch. Steve Polge called it a "conformed" file which apparently means that it is backwards compatible.
