[BETA] MutWideFOV - 180x90 FOV camera

    Name: MutWideFOV
    Version: BETA 0

    Compatibility:
    - UT2004 v3369+
    - Should be compatible with all other mods and mutators.

    Description:
MutWideFOV is a mutator for Unreal Tournament 2004 that replaces the
standard 90 degrees camera with low-distortion 180x90 degrees one.
This effectively adds extra 90 degrees of peripheral vision. Your
perception is gratly enhanced, you can see easily what's happening
around you without having to turn around constantly. For example if
you are inside a straight corridor, facing one of the ends, you can
turn left or right and you'll see both ends at the same time!

    Comments:
    - On my box terrain is rendered way too bright.
    - Might not work on Mac/Linux/OpenGL, feedback required.

Awesome. This would work well with Creature player models.

Nice Mod...tried it out in instant action. I see what you mean about the terrain. I went downstairs on tent landing and it was a complety white floor instead of the terrain. LOL. Take a little getting used to, but does give you more vision. Seems like everything is smaller which makes sense if you are putting twice the info in one screen. Other than the terrain issue it seemed to work well...

Interesting. I didn't think the engine could do spherical distortion like that, was that hard to figure out or have I not been paying attention for this long?

Cool indeed. How does it work? Some sort of DirectX transformation, or a ScriptedTexture on a RenderOverlay()ed mesh, or what?

That's actually a lot of fun. Just played it with my version of Diamond Sword. Lot's of fun. Got to zoom with the rifles more at middium distance, but cool fun. No headaches here!
