    DM-Resi

    I posted some pics from an unnamed map a few weeks ago. I managed to find some spare time and get it ready for a beta, as DM-Resi

    I need to do some minor adjustments such as add some more sounds, add some more details, better optimizing etc...

    I'm looking for feedback about the layout, light, bugs, deco, anything you can find.

    well the red trim is a nice touch, though it is oblivious on some brick walls that its been pasted over, like in the second screenshot.

      I say the brick/wooden/rusty (brown,red,grey, BORING!) theme is done to DEATH.Maybe use different textures, like maybe Alleria Hardware, with floors form anywhre else that fits that type of theme.Use replace textures function in the texture brower to make this fast and painless.

          I beg to differ, i find it works quite well here. Though some of the red does stand out a bit much (ie, looks a bit cartoonish) like the 3rd screenshot arches.

            Like the layout being multi level. Not to tight but yet open where it should be with the upper levels, holes a nice touch. The skybox flashes of lighting a nice touch, the light streaming down a bit hard on the edges. The mood has a good start. Lift jumps worked well and had no trouble getting up or over to anything including the upper ammo room. Weapon layout was placed well. Question on the steam jump wearing headphones at first I thought the steam noise was coming from the steam but as I moved to the vent pipes I heard it better there so where is the sound supposed to be coming from? Now the only bug Do something with the Pinkie Red it started to wear on me and bring down the map. Dirty it up or a bit more rust.
