I constantly get low 100s everywhere in the map and actually had the ticker go over 200 in a couple of spots...nice

Dev, man, I have no focus at all I'm working on so many maps right now. I'll post some previews of the DOM MuthaGiger revision since I've been promising that for a while now. I'm working on many maps at the same time as usual.

{sQ4}Antioçh, don't be hard on yourself. I'm still learning myself. For instance, this was my first map and the reason I did the revision is because there was so much I didn't know when I did it... It was really sloppy.

lol. Thanks Capt_13M! Yeah, I think DirtyBob kinda started his server with mainly [FuT] maps, now his got about 300 fun maps in rotation from all over the place. One of my favorite servers to play on. (Mojos custom death match 198.200.182.11:7997)

(Tonight, I'll try running mine down to 640x480, lowest video stuff, no EAX, etc. and see what I get...)

P.S. You've probably got a 9700 though, don't you? I've got a GF4 4800...thought that would at least do a little...

I have my res @ 1280 x 1024 always.....vid settings I change between high and highest depending on map....software audio even tho I have a sound card sb....

P4 2.66Ghz @ 533FSB with 1024 Mb DDR RAM and GF4 Ti 4600 @ 128 Mb Ram nothing overclocked....I am too chicken to overclock

I have no problem getting 80-100 fps on most maps with moderate to light action and hardly ever drop below 50 even in heaviear fight type scenes....cpu handles a lot of bots well and gpu does all right tho I am saving for an upgrade this summer....my good buddie computer tech that does work on my system is really against ati systems so it will be interesting to see what his recommendation will be...

DUDE!?!?! I must be smokin' somethin' thick every time I put my computer(s) together. I have less RAM than you (512) and your processor is much better (AthlonXP 2000+), but still....

I do have to admit, though, I never touch my settings: always leave them cranked! But I still don't get it.

And btw, my card isn't better: The 4800 is just the 4600 with 8x AGP, but my MB only supporst 4x, so I can't even utilize the extra 25 bucks (or however much the dern thing was)

Do you do any kind of tweaking or anything? What is your avg. FR on Curse3? (like, when you're just playing with the normal amount of bots in I.A.) Thanx!:up:

(oh, and btw, I ALWAYS have Norton running in the background. Would that make a difference?)

Hmm I was not sure what the 4800 card was...8x ok....
tweak..oh yes...I have been tweaking my ini's from september til present....I can send ya copies if ya like....installed rivatuner but have not done much tweaking to my card tho....
I have about 45 minutes free...I'll fire up a match on Curse3 and monitor the frames....be back in a bit....

Oh I always run Norton and Zonealarm Pro myself as well 100% of the time....hmmm
