hi, this is my robot, i worked on it for about 1 hour and his not finished, i just installed 3dsmax6 today and just playing around with it, its fun software to use, and easy to use also.
do you guys think this is cool?

that thing looks like an entire level's worth of polys. I hope you are prepared to do some trimming and triangulating. Nice work on originality, though.

Seeing as how the next UT will have multi-gazillion poly models, I don't see this as a problem. I find these robots to be whimsical and spiffy. Keep on working, but please save these models. You might find them useful for something. Oh yes, by the way, do you have any concept drawings of them?

To be completely honest, I hate how your robot looks. It looks like it was designed by some guy from the 1920's who has this abstract view of the future and all he knows is "there will be robots".

Besides the looks, it's nicely done though...
