Perhaps they would, but that is a different era of GI Joe than what I intend to cover... I dunno, I guess after 88 most of the vehicles and figures just started to take on this sci-fi ninja look and feel. Those copters had three wicked blades, which looks cool... almost too cool for what GI Joe was when I was a kid. For what it's worth, I will be doing the Tomohawk, which is very similar in design, but more military looking.

Wow, that site takes me back! Most of the stuff I had was from 1987-1989. Like Captain_G said, I hope you do more of these! Man, what if you had a whole team, doing classic G.I. Joe player models, vehicles, maybe even weapons....

A team would be really nice... but the people I know who are competent to do this are already doing their own stuff. Actually, I've been lending my help to them, trying to get them up to speed.

If anyone wants to help me tackle this mod, I could really use some vehicle coders and some character riggers/animators. Maybe one other modeler would be nice, too... let me know if y'all are interested.

Man the fang was awesome!!! It only works for red team.

I just tried it for blue team using the car launcher... it works. I also have a fang factory in that package, if you want to make a map with it.

BUT yeah, plain summoning it won't allow blue guys to jump in until it is unlocked by red team.

You need an item replacing mutator like swaptool or Car Launcher. When you configure the mutator you can set what vehicles you want to appear.

You can get swaptool at www.unrealclan.com in the downloads section along with several mutators that they use on the DM server.
