1 I really dislike that green wall texture you have used.
2 You have some mesh stairs that are to big and to steep.
3 Plus you have a tinny lift, its too small and feels just wrong.
Having said that you have shown that you ant half bad at layouts, and I think with a little time you could have a across between a sweet red wine and a glass of jack Darnels…
I was thinking of getting some more texture variation in, however i haven't found anything suitable as of yet. The stairs you speak of are they by the sniper? if so i'ii get those sorted. The smaller lift i could make the lift shafter bigger, and have the lift fill that. But i'ii keep the angled wall at the top, so you will only be able to use x amount of the lift space. Red wine & Jacky D's, what a combo....so what does that make it, sweet & rough? Or sweet with a bitter taste? lol .

There was a map called DM-1on1-Pheonix, mine was called the same but i re-named it to just plain Phoenix for that reason, but also its bigger for 1on1 play.
I get to it at last and... :-) I like it. Weapon placement is good (big triad spread across the whole level). I see many nice changes from alfa2 I saw last time. ;-) Shock room divided nicely, DD placed on ledge is good too (it is close to a100, but they have different timings and in duels there is no DD anyway ;-)). This is small level the way I like it. Theme/feel - no problem with this.
- Flak lift is a little bit slow for my taste (and I can't lift jump to upper tubes/ledges in room) - but... no real problem with it.
- Jumppad does not make sound for me (lifts do).
- Mentioned before - big stairs - their steps are pointing out of wall and it looks floaty (although they actually are not ;-)), but some support on the outer side would look good.
- Small lift... looks strange - not because of small, but because the shaft and lift have different layout.
I'm nicely surprised how the map came out so far. Good work.

Thanks for the feedback. The flak lift i'ii speed up a little more, however i don't think you cna fit on top of those pipes. I'ii double check the jumppad, i think i added a sound can't remember. I'ii get rid of those steps and replace with a ramp, in turn i will loose some of the glass floor, and the mini health under the stairs. The small lift i'm gonna change as well.

lol , i'ii replace with ramp and move the pack of mini health by the mini gun ammo.
Edit: Well I gave it a run and I enjoyed it. I'm new to mapping, so I can't comment much on the overall layout of the map, but I did like that it had a lot of Z axis action, the lighting was good, and those glass areas were a nice touch too. I did notice that in the description of the map, there are a few grammatical errors which you might want to correct before your final release
Btw, how long did it take it you to create and how long have you been mapping in general?
OK, I did not test it thoroughly but the only thing that bothers me is rocket and flak a little bit close to each other (two similar weapons)... but if this is the only thing that's on my mind, it is good. :-) I like it quite a lot. :-)
As I noticed, jumppad sound was really missing. ;-) - Yeah - and that lifts are both GOOD. Shock lift is good (and no one should jump on it ;-)) and flak is JUST FINE - and I can now lift jump up up up... anywhere I want. :-)
