    Marshmallow Duel : Mowbray's Revenge [trailer]

    This is a trailer for our upcoming mod's release.
    The gameplay offers something new and different, and doesn't take things too seriously. There'll be more descriptions and exclamation marks upon release (next week some time) but for now I'll simply say, enjoy the trailer.

    Well, Certainly different! I can't wait to test this out.
    Is that glowing dot in front of your char the crosshair? if so its soo cool!

    Also I like the idea of randomly generated levels, i take it that only works in 2D though.

    But by far i think the best bit the video showed, was the way you can create you own character from bits, such as arms legs etc.
    Someone should make that feature a mutator for normal gameplay. You could have some very funky looking creations.

      well that is the plan! (;

      yeah at the moment randomly generated maps are only a 2D thing, and theres only 1 (seemed no point in making more since itd just be the same randomness anyway). But theres easily the possibility for mappers to make use of the randomness for small areas of larger maps if they want.

      The next version will probably have random 3D levels in it, its more a case of lack of time rather than lack of skill (now that its worked out it would be pretty easy to make a 3D one)

      oh yes, thats the crosshair too. I was really keen on an 'American McGee's Alice' styled one.

      Thanks for your support dude, its great to get some positive feedback.

        I really like the way this mod is looking, though I suggest you be very careful about random levels. Make sure you have alternatives that are actually designed, and you have an option to quickly re-randomize in case the random level you have is kinda unplayable.

          havent had an unplayable one yet, but i do hear you.
          theres probably 80-90% properly designed maps so its no biggie.

            OMG HOT! The guy who did that sewer map is obviously some kind of genius.
