I have feeling like the skybox does not correspond to some really bright catwalks, I'm still looking for the sun. :-)
No FPS improvments, moving around a100 is still pain for me (half of the retail FPS) - and waterfall has nothing to do with it - at least it is not in my view (looking from a100 to flak). There is FPS version of Roughinery... we know why - and Rough is never so FPS-bad like Derelict looking across whole map. I hope there will be some optimization.
It's going fine... :up:
- I don't like that health on the high floor, near both the 50shileld and another health, IMO it should be replaced by 3 vials or adrenaline pills.
- I assume the skybox is going to be changed and the music from the old UCMP-Derelict will be in the final (a bit more not-so-loud if possible? )
- The FPS issue around the ShockRifle is fixed now, but I get low framerates in other places (especially on the cliffs from the LinkGun to the 100shield). Probably there are too many antiportals. I also saw in the editor a waterfall mesh that is used as a water surface, and that is probably eating more framerates... Is it possible removing that mesh and adding a fluidsurface instead?
- The sunlight is a bit too bright IMO, I think it should be less bright and a bit more yellow... Move the sunlights to the skybox and they will affect to the whole map rather than a single zone...

I did it again!!! The skybox is different in the map I was using then I uploaded the wrong one! I'll upload beta 1.5 in a day or two. along with what problems that I've got here.
So fix list will be better optimization and proper skybox ( I can't believe I left the night skybox with the day light lol) oh and those path changes.

Apologies for not getting around to trying this out yet (especially after all the noise about it ), prob is I can't afford the space for UT2004 again untill after this semester (4 weeks).
