    Name: UTPRO Beta2

    Description: Replaces Stock weapons with more balanced ones.

    Comments: My first mutator/weapon modification ever! Sorry for no screenshots, but there really isn't an interface...

    Credits: Me, for the work. Dynamit, in etg's #unrealed, for helping a lot with the beginning mutator code. Bliss for hosting the file. Wiki for the awesome tutorials, and Scratchpad. And Shuri for the code [from Enforcers2003] that I used to replace the assault rifle and shield gun.

    This is my attempt to remove the spamming and cheap whoring elements of UT, and the inconsistencies in some of the weapons. Give me as much feedback as you can, since I am unsure about the current setup.

    I thought weapons already were balanced. (Except for the AR of course)

      I all ways liked how balanced ut2004 was. I cant see how more balanced you can get it.

                Play'd it.

                Well okay.. First and most annoying Problem:

                The Crosshair Size is doubled :cry:

                To the Gameplay:
                It's hard to get used to. I noticed the most changes on Flak Prim. Fire, as it's much less. I think the Idea is good, but it needs some more Tweaking. It isn't that much difference ( yet ), but if you implent those Planned things and make some of it optional, then this is gonna be a much used Mut ( I hope ).

                Good Job on your first Weapon Mod!

                    As long as any weapon can kill someone, I think it should be nerfed more... ....I don't want weapons that kill others, especially not in a FPS like UT.

                      Yeah, That will be my first change. The original setting is the shards will last a good deal over 3 seconds [so basically you can snipe with them on any map], I put it at .5 seconds, I'll test it at .75 to see how that works.

                      The "sister trails" are the extra little sparks that happen when you shoot something [as long as it wasn't a headshot] with the lg. So if you barely miss the person, you can still get a hit for 35 damage. If you have damage based hitsounds [tam or utcomp], you should know what I mean...anyway, those are gone.

                      As for everything else, I tried not to make it too extreme...Its hard to really tell all of the differences unless you look for them...[Except for like the Flak, which will be fixed...]

                      Now I need to go find the guy who made the assault rifle so only 1 grenade can exist per player at a time...

                      Also, the mutator failed on a server for some reason. Instead of replacing each stock weapon with its corresponding "balanced one", it just removed those stock weapons and left a blank particle emitter :bulb:

                      And for the name, I just wanted something short, and BalancedUT didn't sound cool...Sorry for using the word "pro" if it hurts anyone's feelings. I mostly just wanted to do this for a) I have no mutator/weapon experience and it wouldn't hurt to get me some; b) The weapons are unbalanced in my eyes, even if the mutator only makes it to my instant action, it'll be good; and c) If it does just make it to my instant action, getting good with the nerfed weapons will get me that much better with the stock weapons.

                          And taking into account the approximate 1.1 2k4 seconds to 1 normal second, makes the lifespan roughly 2.45 second lifespan
                          You're probably taking in the increased lifespan when it bounces off a surface
