Viewsonic VP201B 20.1" LCD. Its very thin, with almost no bezel. Native resolution is 1600x1200, and it has a beautiful picture.

Just so you know a Thin Film Transistor is NOT a type of Liquid Crystal Display, but a translucent film used for applying voltages to individual (sub)pixels. It is commonly used in modern Liquid Crystal Displays but also in organic/polymer-LED displays.

I have a 21" Sony Trinitron CRT that I bought at Microcenter for a mere 200 bucks in December. I was SO glad to find it, because I wanted a big monitor but didn't want to pay 1000+ dollars for an inferior (as far as gaming) flat panel monitor.

That, and you can't stand your Spawn figures on a flat-panel.

Does anyone even MAKE a 21" CRT anymore?

Cortez - if you're _really_ lucky, you might be able to find a Sony W600/W900...
24" of Widescreen CRT love... I used to have one, but the missus didn't appreciate the amount of space it took up (hence the move back down to a 21" Sony)

24 inches? Sweet Jesus! I have a giant oak desk that'd fit on nicely. Of course, I'd end up slumped over my keyboard dead from UTing...

Looks like this (well, it did until the missus got involved )

                              NEC 22" Multisync FE2111sb

The "sb" means "superbright" - it has a button on the front that allows me brighten the image ("picture" and "movie" modes).

Dark maps a illuminated well, and characters look almost like they have brightskins (even when they don't)!

Does LCD handle this or any similar game well? I assumed it might not but was not sure.
