    Keyboard / Mouse / Trackball / Joystick ???

I know you're gonna be tempted to reply with "whatever works for you", but I'm curious what other folks are using. I've got a wireless keyboard and Logitech TrackMan... couldn't seem to get comfortable with the joystick

Random cheap keyboard and wireless logitech trackman optical.

Can't see how a joystick would work in UT.

      Hi,

I think we can play any games with any "input device".
But just need practice and some need more.

Personally I use keyboard/mouse even if I have a gamepad and joystick (both are full of dust)

Btw I have a "*******" keyboard (with wire) and Logitech MX-1000 mouse (Laser mouse, Oh Yeah baby )

Memorex keyboard and my 1337 new MX510 ( )

I used to play with a trackball mouse though. That worked good for everything except fast action w/ the shockrifle.

I don't think anyone sane uses a joystick anymore.

Apple pro keyboard and Logitech MX 510. I tried the Nostromo N52 speedpad for a month, but I returned it. The keys are just nowhere near as responsive.

                            Logitech Elite Keyboard

Logitech TrackMan Marble+ (thumb operated trackball, no longer produced)

                            I can't play worth **** with a mouse anymore.

There's still a good number of people who play with a joystick. If you get one that's ambidextrous you can use the joystick in your left hand and mouse in your right. There's a couple disadvantages I've found in using a joystick, but no real advantages. 1. It takes that split second longer to change direction. 2. You basically have to assign a special key or button to dodge, as it's really hard to double tap a joystick.
