Axon versus Necris vehicles in ENVY - speculation

-Nine 'Axon' vehicles taken from UT2004: ECE

-The Scorpion buggy now comes with an XMP-style rocket booster,
as well as an'eject' button which turns it into a self-destructing bomb.

-Scorpion now features Rocket Launchers instead of
UT2004's energy web.

-Goliath tank may feature destructable treads this time around.

-Nine new Necris vehicles

Okay, let's start off thinking: will Necris vehicles be a massive departure from the Axon vehicles present in UT2k4, or will they simply be equivalents of each, like the Skaarj versus Human spacefighters, which are stylistically different from each other but ultimately identical in function and control?

Or will they be completely different.

Since the new Necris have insofar been elaborated upon as guerilla fighters with an underground war on Earth, I'm thinking that perhaps the Necris vehicles will no be the technological marvels of the Axon vehicles, all polished and pristine, but overbuilt, welded-at-the-seems, gritty contraptions with improvised and innovative weaponry, focusing more on covert than offensive (I can imagine, for example, a little buggy that goes around laying anti-tank mines)

What do you think that the Necris vehicles might be like?

So my guess is the vehicles are going to be lightly armored, but fast or stealthy.

Along with the sniper rifle, especially if its replacing our beloved lightning gun...The current sniper rifle feels like a pea-shooter [unless you play on utcomp, in which it feels only slightly stronger]

Whata waste of time that would be. I doubt Epic would spend so much time and resources on some gimicky graphic swaps for the same functionality. That's just idiotic.

surely it would be less time in regards to not having to recode 9 new vehicles?

Epic is going to have to recode the game from the ground-up anyways, so they might as well go all the way.

i reckon they will look different, and have different weapons, but be basically equal to the rest.

they would have their own version of the goliath, which looks and feels different, but might fire a plasma shot instead of a shell.

something like that.
