The XWeapons.int file only contains the descriptions and text (pickups etc.) associated with weapons.

Sound and weapon properties are handled in XWeapons.u AFAIK.

Would it be possible to replace that without setting off alarm bells on every Anti hack system out there?

    So, uh, yeah.

Maybe you're distinguishing via the ammo sounds? Oh, wait, they use the same sounds too. :weird:

(Oh, the two armors use different sound samples, though.)
HOW DO YOU OPEN THAT FILE?!

the people who discredit the bio rifle probably aren't very good DM players. in most matches i have at least 3 or 4 bio kills. through a pile of goo behind the player, switch to flak and the opponite is all yours. plus you can't beat the satisfactory feeling of a fully charged goo shot lobbed across the map and landing on another player.
