    In XWeapons.BioRiflePickup:
    Code:
    defaultproperties
    {
    .....
        PickupSound=Sound'PickupSounds.FlakCannonPickup'
        PickupForce="FlakCannonPickup"
    In XWeapons.FlakCannonPickup:
    Code:
    defaultproperties
    {
    .....
        PickupSound=Sound'PickupSounds.FlakCannonPickup'
        PickupForce="FlakCannonPickup"
    So, uh, yeah.

    Maybe you're distinguishing via the ammo sounds? Oh, wait, they use the same sounds too. :weird:

    (Oh, the two armors use different sound samples, though.)

      Quick fix. Just replace the pick-up sounds with this:
      "You JUST picked up the BIO RIFLE!!!"
      and
      "You JUST picked up the FLACKCANNON!!!"

      Anouncer voice is to you'r discretion.

                the people who discredit the bio rifle probably aren't very good DM players. in most matches i have at least 3 or 4 bio kills. through a pile of goo behind the player, switch to flak and the opponite is all yours. plus you can't beat the satisfactory feeling of a fully charged goo shot lobbed across the map and landing on another player.

                      I think most people know what weapon they just picked up. :bulb:

                        I wonder, is there a BioRifle PickupSound in the game at all?

                          Actually there is. I wonder why they didn't use it.

                            Would it be possible to replace that without setting off alarm bells on every Anti hack system out there?

                              It probably would be - I don't think they check .int files. I mean, it's not like modifying an .int is going to help anyone bot/wallhack/etc.
