Red future, will UT live on?

UT has lived quite long. One game after another all of them all great. But what is in the future for this game or is there eny future at all? Sure so many people play this game, But the future holds so much and maybie another game to pass UT. Is it not posable? If that happend what would happen? So many fans... After time many UT vet.s will stop playing and no newbs will even buy the game do to it being over passed by the new game. The UT community would disapear and the servers will shut down. But after this still many people still love UT. Would those people live on, or rot away with there lifes that they once rememberd. Would they just buy the new game or run from the community of new games and gamers? What is the future? Nothingness, without true life. Could it be to hard to start a new life? Playing a game like UT04 can affect our lives, and once it disapears wouldent it be hard to enter a new life, a life without UT. Would you want to keep your memories of this great expiriance that you once had or rd your mind of it? Would you pain yourself to keep such memories? Is this future red? Will UT live on? This is what I ask you.

I will follow the engine wherever it goes. It would take too long to work my up from Noob status with a different editor, and I don't see any other developer coming up with a better editor in the near future.

Don't take it too seriously, it's just a game.

HAHAHAHAHA If it wasn't so big, I'd put that whole post in my sig.

Folks, this is called an "Extremely Unhealthy Gaming Addiction".

Play the game, have fun, don't make it your life.

I have been pontificating this same matter. When it comes to the future of a franchise such as the Unreal Tournament series, one must consider a large amount of factors.

When it comes to the everlasting climactic clash between the real world and the virtual world, it becomes apparent that society is to blame; that is, the advantegous consolidation thereof. If you place a game world and another world with verbatim dimensions, you are looking at a world with expeditious legislation. Game companies do not simply maintain their management by pure promulgation; anticipation should be purely secret. "Hype", as it is called, is purely a figment of imagination and matters little.

To recapitulate the argument in this message, there is a substantial amount of inability to differentiate verbatim dimensions. The gaming industry must endeavor to take appropriate measures and utilize all evident knowledge of their surroundings. A virtual world is merely a task in the larger world; an extra chore, if you will. To facilitate these matters, sometimes people depend on pure idealism to support their beliefs.

                Society must retain its intelligence.

thats the biggest pile of retarded horse **** i've ever read, how is the virtual world (gaming sense) a chore in the real world.

A chore is a task that most ppl don't enjoy, its light work but a disagreeable task, such as cleaning my room, i don't enjoy it, but it's light work. I make the mess in my room therefore i should take responsibility and clean up.

Now to say playing games is a chore, thats actually quite pathetic, i wouldnt play an electronic game if it required the same mental thought process and physical actions to that of cleaning my room.

when someone takes it that far, that day in day out it becomes a chore then as i've mentioned take a step back and see what your doing to urself.

Society will retain its intelligence if we interact with each other in the real world through verbal and physical contact, and the extension of the virtual world.

However taking the extremity of only interacting through the virtual world is more deterimental than only interacting through the real world without the use of computers.

Do not try and elaborate ur sentences and words on this topic, its quite comicial both the original thread starter and you.

I wouldn't say that I'm afraid of what could happen if UT was to disappear, but I'd remember it as one of the best games I played.

When UT dies, release the source, so that it won't really die...

I think someone's been awake too long and is looking for some attention by showing his drugstore-philosophy to people that don't care :bulb:

To he with the apparent alias of °»K@M«°:

Where to begin? Your arguments obviously impose a lot of arbitrary and ineloquent statements. To say that the virtual world is not a chore only ascertains the fact that the link between the transcriptions of the sense chain cease to merge, forming discrepancies in two or more thought processes. This is especially the case in the "task for fun" argument, as the only evidence that exists is completely ambiguous and closed-captioned for the common wealth.

In layman's terms, each figure is composed of a thought; if the figure collapses and/or vaporizes, we are left with only an anonymous factoid. Think of the figure as connected to a coffee filter, if you will; if thoughts are trapped in the aforementioned coffee filter, obviously well thought-out opinions are the things being trapped, while dialogue is the only thing that is left. Thus, no significance of distinctiveness or personal influence is displayed in the dialogue.

This is where your argument comes in; you are trying to impose the fact that what you are saying is true, when in fact you are a part of the aforementioned society therein. Thus, a clash of logic takes place. The outer world must be experienced, not described. To put it another way, if you have a needle, but you do not possess a hammer of any kind, the needle cannot make up assumptions about the alleged hammer. Is hammering another "task for fun" that you speak of?

Unreal Tournament is not a task. It is a concept that people experience, but it is not something to do.
