These numbers were taken from the official UT stats site. Note that these only refer to human players, bots do not generate any statistics.

Interesting things:
- Just for the official game types this accounts for 1'859'461 matches and a total game time of 67 YEARS
- Deatchmatch and Onslaught together account for half the time spent playing UT
- The average game lasts about 17 minutes, with a frag every 12 seconds

Yeah ... DeathMatch and Onslaught, the 2 gametype I hate the most, which everyone like and love... but WTF?

And 12 seconds between each frags? Im not sure about this...

I was there for almost 80% of all the Double Domination ever played online, apparently. Nice! Oh, and notice the finesse of Double Domination players: no frags the entire game, usually! How cerebral!

well when i play ut ctf in a 12 person server its about a frag every couple of seconds?

Total game time for offical maps-.9 years (not 67 years)

Also if this game has only been out about a year, how can you have 67 years worth of playing time in that amount of time? I think your math is a little off.

thats only for the high frag game types, dm, tdm, idm, itdm, ctf, ictf, as, ons, br, ibr, lms, inv, mutant, ddom

your maths is off thats 525600 minutes, only 8760 hours? thats what i make it. 24 hours x 365 days
its not off: there are many servers all playing. imagine about 70 servers online and full constantly, they have each racked up a years worth of playing.

i've editied my last post a couple of times re-read
got to remember al the servers with the ability to have a years worth of playing time (or more like 300 days ish)
those stats don't take into account the actual real life time the game has been available

what about frags?
if you take the total frags and also the time the game has been out you can get real-time frags per second, somewhere around 0.156 seconds per frag? 6.5 frags per second. v approx.
