UT 2004 vs. UT 2004 EC

    Hey,
I'm about to buy Unreal Tournament 2004 but I noticed that there's an Editor's Choice version out as well. This new version apparently has more levels, vehicles, characters, etc...but is it worth the $10? My main question is does anyone know a list of the exact things that are added on in the Editor's Choice version (names of levels, characters, vehicles, etc...), because I might be able to save myself $10 and download everything that is added in?

    Thx,
    Dev

ECE contains a bunch of user-made levels* that are available for download on the internet anyway. But this way you have them all together on nice discs.

*EDIT: I meant mods, not levels.

Yes, you can download the extra ECE content (legally) and install it over the regular version of UT2004. Be sure you have the latest patch, and then download the ECE bundle here.

Here's everything in the bonus pack (downloadable) and descriptions/pics/links for all of the mods included on the ECE retail package.

                              http://www.beyondunreal.com/content/articles/107_2.php

I guess if you don't have broadband and were interested in trying some of the mods (and you should) then the extra cash would be worth it.

One thing to note, however - many of those mods have newer versions available that you'd have to download anyhow.
