Yes, I realize its PCI. Please don't tell me to get an AGP card unless you can send me $300 via PayPal for a new motherboard and CPU.

Thanks to all those who can help.

      Like...?

You could be a little more helpful. :bored:

And I'm not spending any more than about $115 on a video card.

UT2004 will see a large improvement with a better CPU and RAM on a new motherboard, that thing must be ancient to not support AGP.

Unless its broken, in which case you dont need a new CPU with a new mobo and could upgrade it for cheap.
Its actually brand-new. It came with this pre-built comp.

no : the other one is green, and you know that when the light is green, you can accelerate, so there is more speed.

(why would blue mean more spped?) :bulb:

Btw, I'm already getting decent FPS with this GeForce MX4000. So don't BS me about how those PCI cards can't run anything and all that stuff. I'm not looking for 90 FPS here.

actually the chaintech is a better card ,
and there not that slow for pci cards
alot of the *** hats here dont remember saving 300$ for a tnt2
                    or a voddobanshe for 280$

if your mobo doesnt have a agp slot then those cards will run OK for mostgames , just not the newest baddest games at 1900x1600resi

Or they screwed him and he bought a pc from the past.

*back to the future now man*
No, its not PCI-E. Its a $500 Compaq computer that I bought in June because my old computer got f'd up and I had a very limited budget. So far it's served me great and I have no regrets.

So what makes the Chaintech better? The 256 MB?

Because the 5700 looks cooler. >_________________>
