Lost thread? (My tips for improving - Parts I, II, and III)

I remember not too long ago (1 and a half to two months tops) a large thread was posted that contained a lot of useful information pertaining to improving your game. I wans't playing UT2004 at the time it was posted, but I bookmarked it for later in case I started again.

So here I am, ready to jump back into UT2004. I figured I would take a look into that thread so I could start playing with a decent skill level. However, after clicking the bookmark, I got an invalid thread message. A search of the forums turned up nothing.

So I was wondering, what happened to this thread? It was **** useful, to the point of being posted up as news on Beyondunreal.com. If anyone has an archived copy they could send me, it would be appreciated.

It was probably just too good so the mods deleted it to keep up the reputation INA has.

The thread is gone!? Oh, that's just crossing the limits there. :sour:

Yup, search pulls up no trace of it. Great job whoever deleted it. You just demolished one best threads this forum has seen. :sour:

So you guys are telling me they deleted it "just because"?

          That's pretty ****ing ridiculous.

WTF, that's just retarded. Why the have to delete such a useful thread while **** like Air Buccaneers and ECE Vehicle Strategies (oh noes!) stay stickied is beyond me. Epic is such a dissapointment, because I doubt an Atari mod did it. Of course they have to promote the **** that makes them money and delete anything remotely competitive.

They have the comp community on the ground bleeding and now they are trying to slit its throat.

Hmm that was a good thread :bored:

Hopefully a mod can tell us why it was deleted?

It's against their morals to do such a thing.

Did the thread deteroriate into bickering or something? I haven't been following it recently (I'm assuming it wasn't locked some time ago).

Then again I've seen plenty of other threads (what does your poo smell/taste like for example ) being not deleted but merely closed.

I can't believe they've deleted a useful thread which someone took ages to write
