I have been using Avast for the last few months, it seems to catch things pretty quick and not use up alot of resources, and even if it updates during a game it gives very little lag during its update. The home version is free for 14 months. http://www.avast.com/

Online scan only take memory when you need to scan. http://housecall.antivirus.com

I don't use scanning program anymore on my computer because I got it deleted by a virus . Ironic isn't it?
