You can set upto 128 connections per server in Opera. I found that 16 is more than enough for my connection.

well, if you knew the answer before why did you not just post it... either way, firefox fixed and IE fixed.

if anyone wants to know the solution to the IE issue since firefox has been posted, just ask.

In any case, since Terial-DeVo is acting so high-and-mighty, a quick search on the Firefox forums says

about:config
network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server = higher than 2
