well he's also right because i didn't think about how other countries could use "military time" (as we americans call it) as defualt cause "military time" is the same and recognised all around the world.

Well some nations doesn't use "normal time" anymore.

It's almost 100% "military" time here... we call it digital time though since it's digital clocks that use it.

thats what i figured but i wasn't sure because im so used to "standard time" (12 am-12pm) imo "standard time" is not very good, i wish we used "military time"

We never used am/pm here though. Made for a bit of a mess since we mostly said "one a clock" and that could cause issues.
